Vintage photo album with Victorian celluloid Art Nouveau cover featuring a pretty lady illustration in metallic gold paint. The spine and back cover are vibrant velvet with blue flowers. The gold-colored clasp is functional.
The inner pages have gold-color painted flowers and some green watercolor backdrops. The pages are thick with gold-color paint on their sides. Dimensions: approximately 14 inches wide, 10.5 inches tall, and 2.75 inches thick.
Flaws: The velvet material on the edges is rubbed. There is yellowing, light stains, and small tears on the inner pages, including ghosting of squares on the opposite page (see photos). Paint stains on the inner cover pocket folder area; see photo. Cover (made of wood?) has hairline scratches. Best condition album I have come across, lightly used and shows age. No strong odors.
