Vintage Tyrone Larson Pottery Double Handle Serving Casserole with Lid. Signed on the base in a circle "Tyrone Larson".
Measures 14" handle to handle with a 12" opening. Handles are 7". Weighs 11.9 lbs. In excellent condition, used only as a piece of art.
Tyrone Larson worked with his wife Julie Larson at their studio in Royal Oak Michigan starting in 1966. Tyrone focused on wheel throwing, while Julie concentrated on glazing. From 1966 to 1986 their preferred clay body was stoneware often decorated with 23 K Gold and Platinum Lusters.
