Vintage Folk Art Whirligig Primitive Painted Wood & Metal Old Man Sawing 4 Propellers. This outstanding primitive whirligig is a wonderful example 20th century folk art which depicts an old man sawing. Sold AS-IS.
This colorful piece is mid-century. Size is 15 1/2" long x 10" tall and the span of the "propeller" is about 11" wide. Great detail and color, superb quality and clever craftsmanship. In original condition - just as it has descended throughout the years; dust and all. The paint is in very good condition and the mechanism works well. The metal post is 2". This charming whirligig would make a welcomed and desirable addition to any collection. Please see the photos to complete the description and the condition. Untested.
