Vintage 1973 ceramic terracotta Mayan figurine of a female with a large chest. Made in Mexico.
This piece comes from a collection of Mayan and Aztec figurines purchased in Mexico in 1973. The terracotta figure features tremendous detail and is handmade and hand-carved.
This handsome-looking figurine is 14" tall and 8" across at the shoulders. Her shoulders are adorned with terracotta circles. The top of her head is hollow. The bottom of the base is marked "Mexico" and the number 34 written in purple ink.
