Fantastic and rare WW1, 1914-1918 Doughboy 31st Infantry “Dixie Division” Wool Uniform Jacket.
Features Infantry Cross Rifles K Company Collar Disc, US Collar Disc, Sargent’s Rank, Honorable Service Strip, and six to eleven months Overseas Service Strip. Great period privately made unit patch.
The woolen jacket, at least 105 years old, has a four-button pocket front, a five-button closure, and metallic hook closures to the front collar.
Shows a few tiny moth nips (typical for a wool jacket of this age) and age spots on the sleeves and back (see pics).
Own an authentic piece of U.S. history. Jacket measures 16 inches from shoulder to shoulder, 26 inches from nape to hem, 23-inch sleeves, and 17.5” pit to pit.
