A rare and hard to find Pitcher in Black Chutney - a luscious brown glaze with a high gloss finish and lots of depth and luminosity. Iconic round shape and unusual lid design. Original from the Russel Wright collection, produced in the United States between 1939 and 1959.
Excellent vintage condition - may see flea bites and glaze skips typical of Russel Wright ceramics (see photos).
