Gambiered Canton Gauze (Xiangyunsha) is a traditional silk fabric with a history of over 1000 years. It is made by coating mulberry silk with the juice of Dioscorea cirrhosa Lour and river mud containing minerals, then processed under the sun. This creates a unique, plant-dyed fabric and a national intangible cultural heritage, sometimes called 'soft gold.' Known for being cool, easy to wash and quick drying, with a deep color that resists dirt and doesn't stain the skin.
Care instructions: Dry cleaning or cold water hand wash with Silk Laundry Detergent. Do not soak for long. Slight color loss during washing is normal and will not affect the garment.
