*The Hutschenreuther Selb porcelain of this era typically used 22 c. gold, decorated by Osborne Art Studio. However, there is no Osborn stamp on this set and it has not been appraised. So my conservative guess is that the rim of this set is painted in gilt; however, that is an assumption.
Hutschenreuther is the name of a German family that established the production of porcelain in northern Bavaria, starting in 1814. This set is vintage/used. See photos for condition.
