This beautifully printed 1922 collection features Ralph Steiner's views of the Dartmouth campus and nearby Hanover. Steiner's first book exhibits a hazy, Pictorialist style, especially effective in capturing the look of the New Hampshire winter. Each image is printed in gravure on the recto only from photo-etched plates.
This copy is in fair condition. Shelf wear on the corners of the cover, some wear on the top of the binding. Dirt mark on inside cover, grease mark on back cover and scratches. Tanning from age on the pages, does not compromise the photos.
