Cocobolo lumber from Central America. Displays desirable characteristics like dark red/burgundy colors, line figure, tight grain, and high density. Due to CITES restrictions, cocobolo is difficult to obtain. Cocobolo is a popular rosewood. These pieces have been air drying for years.
