Coushatta Indian pine needle basket with lid, handmade by famous weaver Marian John. Born in 1938 in Louisiana. Her work is in The Smithsonian Museum, The National Museum of the American Indian, Contemporary Arts Museum, and The Peabody Museum. This piece has never been used and comes with its original brochure.
Basket measures approximately 2 1/2 x 3" with a 1 3/4" base.
