Chloe Lesley Starks (1866-1952) watercolor painting of Stanford sand dunes, beach, and ocean. Starks was a professor, painter, and book illustrator whose works are held by the Smithsonian, Stanford, and other institutions.
This watercolor is in its original antique frame with gold paint on wood and green velvet trim. Painting is in perfect condition, but the frame has some damage (see pics).
