Beautiful Botryoidal Malachite specimen found in the mountains of Mexico and New Mexico. One side is polished with a straight face. Originally a piece of malachite tubes from the 1950s, one side was stabilized to prevent crumbling. As-is, untested.
Malachite is a sensitive mineral; temperature and humidity changes can affect it. Long-term storage in a closed case is recommended to prevent potential respiratory issues. This emerald green specimen is looking for a new home. Part of an inheritance.
