A very rare piece of history! Antique Pulp Paper Candy Pail/Container used for storage and shipping of candy from the Ideal Candy Company in Louisville, Kentucky. The pulp paper container was made by the John Strange Pail Company in Neenah, Wisconsin. Dated on bottom 1914 (see pictures for details).
Measures approximately 14 inches tall and 13 inches wide, with wooden slates on top and metal banding. The wooden handle is wire attached. In very good condition for its age, some fading of the label from over the past 100 years. See pictures for more details.
