Rare vintage Effanbee 1940s Howdy Doody doll with composition head and stuffed cloth body. Doll is approximately 20 inches tall. Sold As-Is.
Head shows some cracking and paint loss, but is in very good condition considering its age. Some scratches on the fingertips and back of hands, and a crack on the left hand. Please review the detailed pics carefully; all condition issues are documented. This doll has a more intact head and hands than other similar dolls currently for sale.
This is a wonderful old toy reminiscent of a more innocent time. Does not have boots, scarf, or hat. Reference photo is included of another doll without any clothes. No rips or tears. Made in 1940.
