1902 Babe Ruth St Mary's Industrial School hand-cut card. Seven years old. Authentic! This card shows a young Babe Ruth in his first year living at St Mary's Industrial school for boys. The exact year of production is unknown, but it's extremely rare. Fragile card-stock, correct for 123-year-old relic. One-of-a-kind card. Thick card stock with wear and tear. Authentic. Printed in black lithograph. This is a unique piece of baseball history.
Selling at a competitive price due to its odd ball nature. Believed brother Mathias made these for the boys team known as the "Colts" in 1902. It's believed he did this to inspire them to play baseball, he was Ruth's greatest mentor. As-is.
